Jacob

Jacob is truly passionate about touring, and what he loves most about it is the opportunity to meet new people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. He thrives on the engaging conversations that take place within his tour groups, where a variety of topics are discussed, and guests share their unique perspectives. For him, these interactions are not only enjoyable but also incredibly enriching, constantly broadening his horizon and deepening his understanding of the world. While Jacob is a dedicated guide in Copenhagen, he also leads tours internationally, primarily for Danish tourists exploring destinations such as the USA and Japan. His wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for storytelling make every tour an unforgettable experience.

Beyond his work as a guide, Jacob has another great passion—curling. Having taken up the sport in 2003, he has been dedicated to it ever since and can often be found on the ice rink, perfecting his skills.

But that’s not all! Jacob is also our in-house expert when it comes to desserts and sweet treats in Copenhagen. He has an impressive knowledge of the city’s best bakeries, pastry shops, and chocolatiers, always ready to guide guests to the most delightful indulgences. His passion for sweets is not just theoretical—he is an avid baker himself and enjoys creating delicious homemade treats whenever he gets the chance.

Favorite Spot!

Jacob has a special love for the latin quarters in the inner city district. Previously, he has lived in Paris and feels that this area in particular has both a Danish, but also a bit of a French vibe to it. The Elmegade area of Nørrebro gives him the same vibe as well. But the all time favorite spot? The gorgeous Royal Library Garden!

  • What our tour guests say about Jacob:
“I am so happy I booked this experience. We only had 2 days to explore Copenhagen, and we picked 3 experiences off of Airbnb as our tours. This was the best because our incredible guide was such a fantastic person. Local here for 10 years and lived his whole life in Denmark, he offered a unique perspective on Denmark, was well read, highly intelligent, and could discuss geopolitics in an open minded and thoughtful way. I felt I learned a huge amount about Denmark’s culture and Hygge… Needless to say, this was a fantastic experience, even on a cold rainy day. Book this!”
