With a background in archaeology and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies, Therese possesses a deep knowledge of Copenhagen’s history—both the stories hidden beneath its cobblestones and those that unfold above them. Though she is completing her studies at Lund University in Sweden, her heart belongs to Copenhagen. Having called the vibrant district of Vesterbro home for the past 11 years, she knows every nook and cranny of this dynamic neighborhood. From its charming cafés and renowned restaurants to its buzzing bars, Vesterbro has an irresistible allure. And with the historic Carlsberg Breweries and the trendy, ever-evolving Meatpacking District right at its core, who could blame her for calling it her favorite part of the city?
Therese is passionate about her role as a guide, finding immense joy in meeting people from all over the world and sharing the rich cultural tapestry of Copenhagen with them. However, her curiosity doesn’t end when the tours do. Even in her free time, she continues to explore the city on her own, always eager to discover something new—whether it’s an exhibition at a museum, a thought-provoking play at the theater, or an electrifying concert. Copenhagen’s cultural scene is ever-changing, and she loves immersing herself in it. On quieter days, she enjoys a different kind of indulgence—unwinding in one of the city’s many saunas. There, she finds the perfect balance between relaxation and reflection, recharging before setting off on her next adventure in the city she knows and loves so well.
Favorite Spot!
One of Therese’s favorite spots in Copenhagen is undoubtedly the Lakes, where she enjoys peaceful morning walks with her dog. These serene, green spaces nestled in the heart of the city perfectly embody what makes Copenhagen so wonderfully livable—a harmonious blend of urban vibrancy and tranquil retreats.
